CAIRO - 16 September 2023: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a number of decisions to the government and relevant state institutions in his speech during his visit to Beni Suef Governorate on Saturday.

Thousands of citizens were gathered to receive the president as he arrives to their village. He ran a dialogue with the people of Beni Suef, and volunteers of Haya Karima initiative.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi addressed the people of Beni Suef Governorate, saying: “Every time I meet young male and female volunteers and see all the beautiful things they do.. I say that no one, despite the difficult circumstances we are in, will ever stop us from the path we are on to change our lives.” 

 

As part of his speech, he announced a number of decisions, which are:
 
 
First - Increasing the exceptional living allowance to be L.E. 600, instead of L.E. 300, for all employees of the state’s administrative and economic bodies, in addition to business sector companies and the public sector.
 
Second - Increasing the minimum gross income for the sixth degree in career ladder, to become L.E. 4,000, instead of L.E. 3,500, for all employees of the state’s administrative apparatus and economic bodies, according to the eligibility areas.
 
Third - Raising the tax exemption limit by 25 percent, from L.E. 36,000, to L.E. 45,000, for all employees of the state’s administrative apparatus, economic bodies, and companies in the business sector and the public sector.
 
Fourth - Increasing the categories of the the beneficiaries of Takaful w Karama Program by 15 percent for pensioners, to be a total of 5 million families.
 
Fifth: Doubling the exceptional grant to pensioners and beneficiaries, to become L.E. 600, instead of L.E. 300, for a total of 11 million citizens.
 
Sixth - The speedy implementation of an increase in the technology allowance for journalists who are registered at the syndicate, in accordance with the relevant allocations in the general budget.
 
Seventh - The Agricultural Bank of Egypt launched an initiative to alleviate the burden on farmers, who are in trouble with the bank, since the first of January 2022.
 
Eighth: Exempting defaulters from paying interest and fines due to delayed payment of installments to the General Authority for Reconstruction and Agricultural Development Projects, no later than the end of 2024.
