Arab FMs nominate Khaled el Enani for UNESCO chief

CAIRO – 6 September 2023: The Council of Arab Foreign Ministers has nominated Khaled el Enani for Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) 2025-2029.

On his X account [formally known as twitter] Foreign Ministry spokesperson  said: “The Council of Arab Foreign Ministers approves the nomination of Dr. Khaled el Enani as an Arab candidate for the position of Director-General of UNESCO for the period 2025-2029.”

The move comes as part of the endorsement of Arab nominations for a number of international positions.
