CAIRO - 22 August 2023: The ceremony of signing a cooperation protocol between the Board of Directors of the National Elections Authority, headed by Counselor Walid Hamza, and the Egyptian Postal Authority in the Smart Village began, kicked off Tuesday as part of the procedures and preparations for the upcoming presidential elections.
The Board of Directors of the National Elections Authority held a meeting Tuesday to complete the logistical preparations and arrangements for conducting the constitutional process for the upcoming presidential elections.
During the meeting, they reviewed the forms of documents related to all the records of the electoral process procedures and their lists, from the beginning of the poll to its end, and the sequence of procedures for each of them, whether the records within the sub - or general polling committees, as well as within the National Elections Authority.
The members of the Authority’s Board of Directors discussed the issue of “phosphorus ink” that will be used during the electoral process, in terms of the quantity required to be provided, as it is the most important technical specifications that must be available during the elections, as one of the many guarantees for the safety of the voting process.
The meeting also tackled the need to fully adhere to the health precautionary measures.
The Council also completed its discussions regarding the organizing decisions that must be issued or activated in preparation for the upcoming elections, as well as the perceptions of the election timetable in light of the provisions of the constitution and the timings it set in this regard.
