Pope Tawadros II, Emir of Qatar exchange greetings in Budapest

CAIRO- 22 August 2023: Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese met with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, on Monday.

Sheikh Tamim resides in the same hotel where the Pope stays in Budapest. They met by chance in the reception hall of the hotel.

They greeted earth others and the Pope thanked the Emir of Qatar for the care received by the Copts in the State of Qatar, and the interest in the Coptic Church in the Qatari capital, Doha.
