Egypt’s president, Bahraini king discuss political, economic relations in Alamein meeting

CAIRO – 5 August 2023: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa discussed political and economic relations as they met in Alamein city in northern Egypt.

The two leaders discussed a number of regional and international issues and developments, affirming the importance of intensifying coordination between Egypt and Bahrain.

They also stressed the need to continue working on the enhancement of the Arab joint work in order to preserve peace and security in the face of the diverse and growing challenges in the region.

Sisi also received in Alamein city this morning President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, where they emphasized the strong and distinguished relations between the two countries.

The Egyptian and Emirati leaders also discussed ways to continue strengthening cooperation in the economic and development fields.
