CAIRO – 25 July 2023: US Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Michele Sison extended thanks to Egypt over its support to the UN peacekeeping operations.
In a statement Tuesday, the US Embassy in Cairo said that Sison held during her current visit to Egypt a series of meetings with a host of officials, including assistant foreign minister for legal affairs, deputy assistant foreign minister for UN affairs, and deputy assistant minister of foreign affairs of specialized international agencies.
Talks focused on a host of issues, including reforming the UN and the UNESCO, added the statement.
