CAIRO – 24 July 2023: Egypt is facing increasing humidity this week as the country has been suffering from a scorching heatwave that led to power outages across the nation.

Extremely hot weather will prevail in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northeastern coasts, South Sinai and southern Egypt during daytime, the EMA said.
The northwestern coast will see hot and humid weather.
During nighttime, weather will be warm nationwide, according to the EMA forecast.

- Cairo and Lower Egypt – Highs: 40
- Northern coasts – Highs: 36
- South Sinai – Highs: 44
