Palestinian PM greets President Sisi on progress Egypt is witnessing at all levels

CAIRO – 24 July 2023: Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority Mohamed Shtayyeh greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, on the progress Egypt is witnessing at all levels.

"Egypt has become what is now as a result of building on the outcome of the July revolution," Shtayyeh told a ceremony organized Sunday by the Egyptian Embassy in Ramallah to mark the 71st anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.

Egypt and Palestine see eye to eye on strategic issues, topped by ending the Israeli occupation, establishing a Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, Palestinian refugees' right of return, the fact that the Palestinian Labor Organization (PLO) is the sole legitimate representative of Palestinians, and the importance of national unity for ending internal divisions.
