CAIRO – 23 July 2023: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi received Sunday cables from UAE counterpart Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah greeting him on the 71st anniversary of July 23 Revolution.
The chief of state received similar cables from the UAE vice-presidents, Dubai Ruler and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashed Al-Maktoum and Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, who also delivered their greetings to Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli.
The July 23 Revolution took place in 1952 and was led by the Free Officers to end the monarchy in Egypt and turn the country into a republic.
