CAIRO – 20 July 2023: Egypt has extended its heart-felt condolences to the Algerian government and people over the tragic traffic accident in Tamanrasset Province and left scores dead and wounded.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry expressed Egypt's full solidarity with the Algerian people and government, wishing a speedy recovery to all wounded.
Early on Wednesday, a bus-car collision followed by a fire in Tamanrasset, hundreds of miles away from the capital Algiers, has killed at least 34 people and injured 12 others.
