KIEV, July 15 (MENA) - The Russian invaders shelled Kherson region 70 times on Friday, Ukrinform news agency said.
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram.
"Over the past day, the Russian army launched 70 attacks, firing 361 projectiles using mortars, artillery, tanks, Grad [MLRS], aircraft and UAVs. The Russian forces fired 10 projectiles at the city of Kherson," he wrote.
According to the region’s head, the Russian military hit residential quarters of the region, and territory of cottages of the Kherson city community.
No casualties among the civilian population were reported.
