CAIRO – 13 July 2023: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli received Thursday Secretary-General of the Conference of the Ministers of Youth and Sports of La Francophonie (CONFEJES) Louisette-Renée Thoni commending the existing cooperation between the organization and Egypt.
The prime minister also stressed hope for bolstering that collaboration, especially in terms of partnering up with the Ministry of Youth to execute programmes and camps, and supporting talented youths who have the potential to become professional athletes.
Minister of Youth Ashraf Sobhy, who was attending the meeting, highlighted the two programmes carried out with the organization since 2018. One is dedicated to funding small enterprises by youth in the fields of fisheries and innovation. The sum is disbursed in two tranches, and not paid back.
The other programme is concerned with providing financial support to young athletic talents, enabling them to attend their trainings without worrying about income, purchase equipment, and have access to healthy food and medical check-ups.
