Photos: 3 killed including child as old building collapses in northern Egypt’s Alexandria

CAIRO – 6 July 2023: Three people have been killed and one was injured as an old building in Gomrok district in northern Egypt’s Alexandria collapsed on Thursday.

The deaths include a 35-year-old mother and her 15-year-old son and a five-year-old child.

Search is underway for other missing residents and ambulances are stationed at the scene to move the casualties to the nearby hospitals.

The prosecution is investigating the incident.

The collapse comes shortly after a tragic incident took place Alexandria's Sidi Bishr district, where a building collapsed, killing 10 people.
