PARIS, July 1 (MENA) - Over 266 buildings were burned or damaged, including 34 town halls, 28 schools, 39 police offices, 24 gendarmerie buildings, 16 barracks and 119 public buildings
According to the interior minister, Lyon and Marseille were the two most affected agglomerations.
The fourth consecutive night of riots since the death of the young Nahel led to a record number of arrests: 1311 people, including 406 in Paris and the suburbs, were arrested in the night, according to the latest assessment of the Ministry of the Interior.

Violent protesters have clashed with police and set fire to public buildings and vehicles.
