Death toll from building collapse in Alexandria rises to 10

CAIRO - 28 June 2023: Civil defense forces on Wednesday recovered a tenth body from the rubble of a building that collapsed in Alexandria on Monday.

The search is still on for more victims under the collapsed 14-storey building.

Four people, including a paramedic, were injured in the vicinity of the building that is located on Khalil Hamada Street in Montazah neighborhood.

Ten ambulances were deployed to the area, which is now cordoned off to prevent passers-by from approaching the scene.
