Number of detainees released on occasion of Eid al Adha, anniversary of June 30 revolution

CAIRO- 27 June 2023: Number of detainees were released on Wednesday on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and the anniversary of the June 30 revolution

The pardon came as a continuation of the coordination of the concerned authorities and the Presidential Pardon Committee to release a number of prisoners, after completing the legal procedures.

 

The Presidential Pardon Committee has thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Attorney General and the Minister of Interior for the decision to release a number of pretrial detainees.

 

On Monday, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi decided to pardon some prison inmates on the occasions of Eid al Adha.
