CAIRO – 26 June 2023: President Abdel Fattah al Sisi received on Monday cables from Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese to greet him on Eid al Adha.
In his cable, the premier extended Eid greetings to the president on behalf of the cabinet and expressed wishes that peoples of Arab and Muslim countries would enjoy peace and tranquility.
Madbouli renewed vows of maintaining efforts meant to support the development path, under the leadership of president Sisi.
He asked Allah for granting Egypt and its people maintained security, safety and prosperity.
Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese sent another cable of greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Eid Al Adha, which starts on Wednesday.
In his cable, the pontiff said he, in the name of the Egyptian Coptic church, sends heartfelt greetings to the president and all Muslim brethren.
The Pope said that he seizes this opportunity to appreciate efforts exerted to achieve the aspirations of the Egyptians wishing the country more peace, security, and prosperity
