CAIRO - 26 June 2023: Governor of Giza, Major General Ahmed Rashid, will inaugurate Monday, the nation-wide campaign "100 days of healthy lives," and its activities will continue until the beginning of next October.
This comes within the framework of implementing the national plan for presidential initiatives to raise health awareness of the causes of infectious diseases, the risk factors for noncommunicable diseases and how to reduce the spread of some genetic diseases.
The initiative, which includes integrated medical teams and mobile medical clinics, aims to conduct medical examinations on citizens free of charge, providing them with all health and treatment services, and ensuring the availability of services of the required quality for all target groups.
The campaign provides services including: maternal and fetal health care for pregnant women, detection and treatment of hearing in newborns, and an initiative to examine those who are about to get married), in addition to examining premature babies for genetic diseases, as well as providing diagnostic and referral services for school children who are likely to suffer from malnutrition diseases.
