RAMALLAH, June 25 (MENA) - Palestinian Foreign Ministry on Sunday called for holding Israeli accountable for not protecting civilians living under occupation and intimidating them.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said settlers are recurrently attacking Palestinian villages and towns and assaulting Palestinian residents in all the territories under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces. Such crimes aim at terrifying the Palestinian citizens who are not able to defend themselves.

The Ministry called for placing groups and organizations of settlers who attack the Palestinians on the lists of terrorism and filing lawsuits against them for committing such crimes.

The Ministry termed the settlers assaults and aggression as "terrorism acts" as thousands of them are carrying weapons and their actions are covered up by the occupation's government.

It also called on the International Criminal Tribunal to take an action and end such crimes by settlers against the Palestinians.
