KIEV, June 18 (MENA) - The air force of Ukraine's defense forces launched 14 air strikes on Russian troop concentration areas on Saturday, destroying two anti-aircraft missile systems, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its Sunday morning update, Ukrinform reports.
"Over the last 24 hours, [Ukrainian] rocket and artillery units hit three command posts, two personnel concentration areas, five ammunition depots, and three artillery units in firing positions," the military said.
In total, over the past day, Russia launched 43 air strikes, 4 missile strikes, and mounted 51 attacks using MLRS against the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
The probability of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.
Russia is concentrating its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka areas, with 26 combat engagements recorded there over the past day.
In the Volyn and Polissia areas, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
