Egypt’s Sisi: Constructions of roads, axes, bridges aim to cut traffic, facilitate citizens’ movement

CAIRO – 17 June 2023: President El-Sisi said that the construction of new roads, axes and bridges aims to achieve maximum levels of reducing traffic and facilitate the movement of citizens within Greater Cairo and the governorates.

 

President’s comments were stated during an inspection tour of the development of a number of roads and axes in Greater Cairo, said Presidential Spokesperson Ahmed Fahmy in a statement.

 

“The axes and bridges that we are establishing aim to change people's lives for the better,” the President added.

 

During his tour, Sisi posed for a photo-op with workers and engineers on the Taha Hussein Axis in New Cairo's Fifth Settlement district.
