We will listen to all of National Dialogue recommendations regarding Health: Spokesperson Hossam Abdel Ghaffar

CAIRO – 15 June 2023: Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, said on Thursday that there is direct directive from the Minister of Health to fully listen to all proposals and discussions regarding health during session of the National Dialogue.

All recommendations that will outcome from the dialogue will be studied according to Abdel Ghaffar.

Egypt's National Dialogue Board of Trustees thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for announcing that he will ratify the Dialogue's decisions without restrictions or conditions during the National Youth Conference in Alexandria, Wednesday, according to General Coordinator of the National Dialogue Diaa Rashwan.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said at the National Youth Conference: “I will ratify the National Dialogue's decisions without restrictions or conditions, within the framework of the powers of the president and the government.”

“I will approve all outcomes of the National Dialogue on the political, economic, and social tracks that come within my powers in accordance with the constitution and law,” he added.

“National Dialogue’s outcomes that are not part of the president’s and government’s powers will be referred to Parliament to be addressed by people’s representatives,” he continued.

President Sisi also gave reassurance messages regarding National Dialogue's demands of financial guardianship law amendments, issuance of information freedom law and formation of an anti-discrimination commission.

Rashwan added commenting on President Sisi announcement, that “it is expected, as president Sisi himself was the one who called for the dialogue, and supported it in all of its stages.”
