Egypt’s to be hit of weather disturbances wave

CAIRO – 12 June 2023: Egypt expected to be hit with wave of weather disturbances, on Wednesday according to The Climate Change Information Center.

The Center noted that the wave will be coming from the desert, leading to a rise in temperatures in most parts, especially in central and southern Upper Egypt.

The state of disturbances includes activity of winds that stir sand and dust in some areas and lead to a deterioration in the level of horizontal visibility in the north of Upper Egypt (Fayoum - Beni Suef - Minya - Assiut) and the Western Desert (oasis) at intermittent intervals.

The country is also witnessing rains of varying intensity, sometimes thundery, concentrated on the northwest coast and north of the delta, and may penetrate into the delta and even Cairo, the canal cities and Sinai.
