6th batch of Turkish troops arrives in Qatar

CAIRO - 18 July 2017: Sixth batch of Turkish Army Troops arrives in Qatar on Tuesday, Qatari Defence Ministry announced in a statement.

On June 13, Turkey sent a military delegation to Doha in preparation for the deployment of Turkish troops in Qatar after Turkish Parliament approved on June 7 an agreement to strengthening military cooperation between both countries, granting Ankara the right to establish military bases in Doha, and the deployment of military forces.
