Egypt, Jordan parliament speakers hail cooperation in all fields

CAIRO – 7 June 2023: Egypt’s House of Representatives Speaker Hanafi el Gebali hailed on Wednesday the deep-rooted relations between Egypt and Jordan in all fields.

This came in his meeting with Speaker of the Jordanian Senate Faisal Al-Fayez in Amman.

He also lauded directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and King Abdullah II to foster ties.

Gebali hailed the king’s stances at all international arenas including his support to the Arab issues especially the Palestinian cause.

The House also supports Egyptian measures and mechanisms to implement the agreement between Egypt, Jordan and Iraq.

He also thanked Jordan over hosting and supporting the Egyptian expats in Jordan.

In a press conference after their talks, Fayez said that they agreed on boosting cooperation in various fields especially food security as well as facing joint challenges and resolving the Arab issues
