CAIRO – 19 May 2023: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met, Friday in Jeddah with Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Spokesperson for the Presidency Ahmed Fahmy said Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed President El-Sisi and expressed Saudi Arabia's appreciation for Egypt's leadership and people, lauding the close, historical and strong Egyptian-Saudi ties.
The Crown Prince affirmed that Saudi Arabia looked forward to further advancing the distinguished relations between the two countries across various fields.
President Sisi expressed his pleasure to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming that Egypt values the historical ties that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples.
The President also congratulated the Crown Prince on Saudi Arabia's assumption of the presidency of the Arab Summit in its 32 session, expressing Egypt's wishes and confidence in Saudi Arabia's success in strengthening joint Arab action in the coming period.
The meeting touched on ways to strengthen bilateral relations and sustain the partnership between the two countries, in a way that achieves the common interest and mutual benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
