Egypt to see raising in temperatures until Friday, May 5

CAIRO – 1 May 2023: Egypt’s Meteorological Authority warned that, starting, Tuesday, the country is going to witness a rise in temperatures that will continue till Friday, May 5.

The Meteorological Authority indicated that the expected maximum temperature over Greater Cairo on Tuesday will be 28 degrees, on Wednesday 31 degrees, on Thursday 33 degrees, and on Friday 29 degrees.

The weather is also expected to be cold during the early hours in morning and at the night.

The country also is witnessing intermittent wind activity in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and South Sinai.

The winter season has ended officially on Monday, March 20, as the spring season began and expected to last for 92 days.

As for average temperatures during the coming days, comes as follows:

- Cairo sees Highs of 26 and Lows: 17

- Alexandria sees Highs of 24 and Lows of 15

- Marsa Matrouh sees Highs of 21 and Lows of 16

- Sohag sees Highs of 29 and Lows of 16

- Aswan sees Highs of 32 and Lows of 19
