CAIRO - 20 April 2023: Egypt's Law on Small and Medium Enterprises Development specifies the services provided by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SEDA) to the projects subject to the provisions of this law.
In the below lines, et highlights the services provided by the agency:
1 - Introducing the available investment opportunities in each governorate.
2 - Assisting in the preparation of preliminary feasibility studies for projects.
3 - Providing advice on the places and sources of purchasing machinery, equipment and other supplies.
4 - Providing project owners with a simplified guide to quantitative and accounting records and the necessary instructions for dealing with all public agencies.
5 - Defining the risks that projects may be exposed to.
6- Introducing local and international exhibitions and helping to participate in them.
7 - Assistance in obtaining developments in production and marketing techniques.
8 - Assisting in linking projects with grantors of franchise rights.
9 - Providing training and introducing the necessary training services for projects, especially entrepreneurship projects.
10 - Helping projects preserve traditional professions.
11- The Agency allocates in its annual budget the funds necessary to provide these services.
The Board of Directors of the Agency may restrict the benefit of projects subject to the provisions of this law to the incentives, benefits and facilities stipulated in this law to projects that have bank accounts, and they are dealt with in accordance with the controls approved by the Agency with the Central Bank of Egypt.
