CAIRO – 8 April 2023: Egypt will witness a rise in temperatures nationwide on Sunday, announced the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
Active winds are expected to prevail as well on the northwestern coasts, while sandy winds will hit the eastern coasts, central Sinai, northern Upper Egypt and the western desert, the authority said in a statement on Saturday.
Light to medium rain will fall on the northwestern coasts, while thundery rains are expected to come down on the Red Sea mountains, southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
As for the temperatures on Monday:
Cairo sees highs of 35 degrees and lows of 19 degrees
Alexandria sees highs of 28 and lows of 17 degrees
Matrouh sees highs of 23 and lows of 14 degrees
Sohag sees highs of 38 and lows of 19 degrees
Qena sees highs of 38 and lows of 18 degrees
Aswan sees highs of 38 and lows. 19 degrees.
