Sisi sends presidential envoy to extend Easter greetings to Armen Catholics

CAIRO – 8 April 2023: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has sent Presidential Secretary Hossam Zaatar to extend Easter greetings to the Armen Catholic community and attend the celebration on this occasion.

The Orthodox, the Evangelical, and the Catholic churches have all announced holding the Easter masses on 15 April this year.

Easter, aka Resurrection Sunday, is a Christian celebration commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, according to the Christian belief.
