CAIRO - 3 April 2023: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has asserted the depth and strength of bilateral relations binding Egypt and Saudi Arabia early morning on Monday.
Posting on his social media accounts after arriving in Jeddah and meeting with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Sisi voiced his hope to further develop and promote for relations in all fields to achieve common interests and meet the aspirations of the two peoples.
“I am pleased to meet with my brother Prince Mohamed bin Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and I express my gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality. I also assert the depth and strength of relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia and I am looking forward to developing and enhancing them in all fields in the service of common interests and to meet the aspirations of our great peoples” Sisi wrote on Facebook.
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi visited Jeddah and met with bin Salman late on Sunday, as they discussed relations between the two countries.
According to Presidency Spokesperson Ahmad Fahmy, the two leaders lauded the remarkable, solid and historical relations between the two countries across all levels.
President Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince bin Salman underscored the importance of the visit in further advancing these fraternal relations and reiterated mutual commitment to forging closer joint cooperation in all areas for the benefit of the two peoples.
