EgyptAir cancels flights to Athens due to strike

CAIRO - 16 March 2023: The Egyptian state-owned flag carrier, EgyptAir, cancelled its flight No. MS747 to Athens today due to a national strike staged by the Greek workers’ unions.

Major unions staged a 24-hour strike at Athens’ airports and ferry services, causing disturbance in domestic and international flights. They called for better safety measures in all transportation modes, and accused the Greek government of failing to meet their needs.

The Egyptian company called upon all passengers who should be onboard of this flight to review their bookings via calling EgyptAir hotline 1717 or 97142306666, visiting the official website, or going to the nearest offices.
