Egyptian ambassador to Rome delivers message from President Sisi to Italian counterpart

CAIRO - 15 March 2023: Egypt's Ambassador to Rome Bassam Rady delivered Wednesday a message from President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to his Italian counterpart Sergio Matarella on deepening bilateral relations and matters of joint interest on the regional and international levels.

The delivery of the message came during the ambassador's submission of his letter of credence so as Rady said he looked forward to increasing the exchange of visits among Egyptian and Italian officials in order to reinforce partnerships in various fields.

In turn, the Italian president sent his greetings to President Sisi, expressing his appreciation to the president's wise leadership of Egypt over the past years, saying that Egypt has a central in the Mediterranean and significant contributions to the entire regional security.
