CAIRO – 7 March 2023: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi followed up Tuesday on the modernization of Egyptian cotton supply chains starting from cultivation until textile factories passing through gins.
That was during a meeting that included Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli; Minister of Housing Assem al-Gazar; Minister of Public Enterprise Mahmoud Essmat; Consultant to the President for Urban Planning Major-General Amir Sayed; and, Consultant to the President for Financial Affairs Major-General Mohamed Amin.
The president was also briefed on the possibility of investing lands owned by the Ministry of Public Enterprise.
In that context, President Sisi asserted the importance of leveraging state-owned assets in alignment with the latest in the fields of manufacturing, marketing, and management and in partnership with the private sector, achieving efficiency and the highest degree of governance.
