CAIRO - 17 July 2017: Spokesperson of Egyptian Military Forces, Colonel Tamer El-Refai, said in a statement that border guards continue efforts to combat terrorism and extremism by targeting criminal elements and jihadists.
“22 SUVs were seized, and 28 Egyptian were arrested while smuggling goods without duty charges, by the border guards while executing ground patrols at the Great Sand Sea area at the Western boarders in the first two weeks of July,” the statement added.
