Egypt to witness rise in temperature due to air mass from Arabian Peninsual desert

CAIRO - 27 February 2023: Egypt will witness an increase in temperature degrees in different parts of the country, as it is being affected by an air mass coming from the desert of the Arabian Peninsula. 
 
The air mass will increase the periods of sunshine and will raise the sense of high temperatures.
 
The Meteorological Authority indicated that the expected temperatures in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will be highs of 25 degrees Celsius, and recordig the same in northern coasts, while a slightly higher temperature reaching 27 degrees Celsius in both southern Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, and in southern Upper Egypt, temperature to hit 30 degrees. 
 
The winds are also active in areas of the far west of the country, which sometimes stir sand and dust.
 
On Monday, there is a rise in temperatures in all parts, so that cold weather prevails in the early morning, warm during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northwestern coasts, warm in the northeastern coasts, inclined to heat in South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, hot in southern Upper Egypt, Cold at night in most parts, very cold in northern Upper Egypt and central Sinai.
 
Frost forms on crops in areas of central Sinai, and direct exposure to sunlight increases the feeling of warmth during daylight hours.
 
As for the temperatures on Monday:
 
Cairo records highs of 25 degrees and lows of 14 degrees
 
Alexandria records highs of 25 degrees and lows of 14 degrees
 
Matrouh highs of 28 degrees and lows of 14 degrees
 
Sohag highs of 28 degrees and lows of 10 degrees
 
Qena highs of 29 degrees and lows of 10 degrees
 
Aswan highs of 30 degrees and lows of 12 degrees.
