Egypt’s Health Ministry conducts health checks for 32.932M women

CAIRO - February 2023: The Health and Population Ministry has said that it conducted regular health checks for 32,933,752 women since the launch of the Presidential Initiative for Egyptian Women's Health in July 2019. 

In a statement on Wednesday, Spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said that the ministry also offered health awareness services for women as part of the presidential initiative. 

The initiative also applied the international protocols for breast cancer treatment through 14 centers affiliated to the Health Ministry, he further noted.

These protocols were also activated in 14 centers affiliated to the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU), he added.
