President Sisi returns to Egypt after participating in Abu Dhabi consultative summit

CAIRO – 18 January 2023:  President Abdel Fattah El Sisi returned Cairo on Wednesday after taking part in Abu Dhabi consultative summit, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said.

Sisi's participation in the summit comes as part of Egypt's keenness on boosting distinguished relations with all brotherly countries and enhancing joint action mechanisms.

President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi arrived in the UAE to participate in a summit encompassing Egypt, Jordan, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, and that is aimed at holding consultations on international and regional security and stability.

The presidency's spokesperson indicated in a press statement that the president's participation in "Abu Dhabi Summit" is in the framework of Egypt's keenness on bolstering ties with neighboring states and consolidating mechanisms of joint cooperation.
