How National Coalition for Civil Development Work helped improve health services in needy villages

CAIRO - 16 January 2023: The National Coalition for Civil Development Work, through its partner institutions, provided an integrated humanitarian epic for the people in the most needy villages.
 
The coalition's efforts represented in providing forms of various social assistance to orphans, widows, newlyweds, and Economic empowerment projects, in addition to convoys, awareness campaigns with the Integrated Services Card for People of Determination, early detection of breast cancer and assistance of small farmers through the initiative of arms.
 
A study by the Egyptian Center for Thought and Studies confirmed that the government and the civil and private work sectors are working to achieve community development and service activities for the benefit of citizens throughout the governorates of Egypt. 
 
As for the health aspect, work was done through 3 thousand grassroots associations, 310 laboratories, 320 pharmacies, and 60 specialized hospitals, in addition to various research entities.
 
Various health services were provided to 5 million citizens at a cost of 4.9 billion pounds, in addition to medical convoys, which are of two types, namely Medical curative and awareness convoys, where 3594 medical convoys were implemented to serve 1.360 million citizens at a cost of 350 million pounds. The convoys were comprehensive. The team sits for 4 days and provides the necessary treatment.
 
And there were convoys that had an educational aspect, within the framework of health education for the family and the mother about proper nutrition, protecting children from diseases, and prevention is better than cure, as 2.5 million citizens were reached, through health awareness and health education.
