CAIRO - 9 January 2023: The National Coalition for Civil Development Work continues its development and service efforts in all governorates, in line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s declaration of the year 2022 as the year of civil society.
The political leadership has ensured the importance of strengthening civil society's capabilities and the support for community services, in various areas of development, including: services, health, awareness, education, construction, and others.
In this report, et highlights the pillars of the Charter of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, which represent the basis of its developmental strategic interventions, are as follows:
- The existence of an ethical charter supports development work based on a set of governing values, most notably efficiency, quality, and participatory development work between the General Union and the executing civil associations and institutions to achieve the planned results.
- The Charter is considered an affirmation of international rights and the International Covenant on Civil Rights.
- The charter seeks to unify the alliance's efforts to serve the target groups.
- Work on coordination between institutions so that every individual in society gets the maximum benefit, as the Egyptian family is the focus of interest in the work of all these institutions.
- The National Coalition Charter seeks to establish a database and information, which in turn constitutes a major strategic focus on which the implementation of all development initiatives is based.
- This charter came with the declaration of 2022 as the year for civil society, and in an effort to unify all development efforts between civil and development work partners to ensure the achievement of sustainable development in society.
