During his meeting with International Cooperation Minister Rania Al-Mashat to discuss outcomes of development cooperation this year, Jin Wook noted that the volume of development cooperation is increasing, including a $ 1 billion memorandum of understanding from the Korea Economic Development Co-operation Fund (EDCF) and additional $460 million from EDCF to fund the manufacture of coaches of Cairo Metro.

He expressed his satisfaction at the success of bilateral development cooperation because it contributes to boosting Egypt's economic development and improving the quality of Egyptians' life.

The two sides agreed on the results of bilateral development cooperation this year, and the Minister of International Cooperation expressed her gratitude to the Korean government for its tireless efforts in promoting bilateral cooperation, including the classification of Egypt as a priority partner country in official development assistance.

Both sides agreed on exploring more development projects in various domains.
