CAIRO – 25 December 2022: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Sunday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban communities Assem El Gazzar.

Presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said the meeting tackled the outcome of a recent visit to Tanzania by an Egyptian ministerial delegation as well as the latest developments national projects carried out nationwide.

Gazzar posted the president on the outcome of the delegation's visit to Tanzania for inaugurating the Julius Nyerere Hydroelectric Power Project (JNHPP) which was constructed by a joint venture of two Egyptian companies – the Arab Contractors Company and El Sewedy Electric – to double Tanzania's current energy production capacity, control floods and improve agriculture.

The spokesman added the president reviewed the progress made in projects carried out in the New Administrative Capital including the housing and businessmen districts along with the squares, axes and the Green River area.

The president called for allocating residential units for the employees who will relocate to the New Administrative Capital at low prices as part of efforts to encourage the civil servants to move to the new capital.

The minster posted the president on the work progress in projects in the New Alamein city, including the tower projects, the heritage city, the Latin district, the recreational area, roads and the New Alamein University for Science and Technology.

President Sisi reviewed projects such as the Greatest Manifestation in Sinai which includes important integrated projects as the president ordered paying attentions to such projects due their importance.

The president also reviewed the development projects in historical Cairo including the Sour Magra el Oyoun as well as the Maspero triangle in addition to a number of bridges and axes.
