PM attends celebration to commemorate 50th anniversary of establishing Egypt-Qatar diplomatic relations

CAIRO – 15 December 2022:  Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli hailed the deep-rooted relations between Egypt and Qatar.

This came during his participation in the celebration held on the occasion of commemorating the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two Arab states.

The celebration was also attended by a number of ministers, officials and ambassadors.

Madbouli pointed out at President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s reception of Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Cairo in June while Sisi had visited Qatar in September then attended the opening of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in November. This reflects Egypt’s apperception and support to Qatar, the premier noted.

He also said that that these visits and other visits held by officials and businessmen show the deep-rooted relations between the two countries as well as coordinated visions and stances to face regional and international challenges.
