CAIRO – 9 December 2022: President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi met on Friday with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, in Riyadh.
Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said in statements that bin Salman welcomed Sisi’s visit to Riyadh, stressing Saudi Arabia’s the distinguished relations that bind the two brotherly countries.
He also stressed Saudi Arabia's keenness to support bilateral cooperation at various levels, while praising the Egyptian efforts that contributed to the success of the first Arab-Chinese summit.
President Sisi expressed his appreciation for the warm reception, emphasizing the importance of meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince, especially in light of this delicate time that witnesses many successive developments at the regional and international levels.
He also highlighted the special relations and the historical ties that unite the two countries, while emphasizing the importance of continuing the pace of periodic and intensive consultation and coordination between Cairo and Riyadh on issues of common concern at the highest level.
