Cypriot Chief of Staff makes tour of National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

 

 

CAIRO – 25 November 2022: The Chief of Staff of Cyprus, Lt.-Gen. Democritus Zervakis, made a tour of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat downtown Cairo on Friday.

 

 

He was received by Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Museum Authority, who briefed him on the history of the museum’s establishment and its role in raising tourism and cultural awareness among the community.

 

 

The Cypriot Chief of Staff toured the museum including the area overlooking Lake Ain al-Sira, and the open-air theatre. He also visited hall of royal mummies in the museum.
