CAIRO - 8 November 2022: The activities of the World Youth Forum platform at COP27 summit, will be launched from November 8 -17 at the Roman Theater in the Green Zone of the Climate Summit.
The activities will witness 34 sessions, including panel discussions, workshops and success stories of various sustainable initiatives and projects in the field of environment, with the wide participation of Egyptian youth and participating youth.

The management of the World Youth Forum announced the launch of the World Youth Platform for the Climate Summit, within the framework of the Green Zone activities of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in its twenty-seventh edition COP27, which is currently being held in Sharm El-Sheikh.
A number of international and regional organizations, including the World Health Organization, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Save the Children, the International Labor Organization, the World Food Program, and others, are also participating in the activities of the World Youth Forum.
Besides, the activities will witness the participation of a large number of Egyptian parties and dialogue members, including: the National Foundation, Haya Karima Foundation, the National Alliance for Civil Development, the Egyptian Center for Thought and Strategic Studies, and the National Training Academy.
The platform of the World Youth Forum addresses a large number of topics on the United Nations’ agenda on climate issues in the environmental, developmental, economic and social aspects, while addressing how to urge world leaders to move faster in reaching just and comprehensive solutions to the climate issue. It also sheds the light on what already has been achieved on the ground since the 1995 Berlin Climate Summit and the Paris Climate Agreement, completing the road from Glasgow to Sharm el-Sheikh.
The agenda of the discussions of the World Youth Forum platform includes: how to build sustainable educational systems that respond to climate and environment issues, clean energy and health issues, entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability; the role of political parties in promoting sustainable development to face the consequences of climate, green buildings, climate migration, water scarcity; the role of the media in Climate change, mental health, green jobs, gender-based violence; challenges to combating climate change in Africa, as well as civil society efforts on environmental issues.
