CAIRO – 3 November 2022: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly praised the friendly ties between Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman over nearly half a century, during which their relationship has been characterized by similarity of visions and coordination towards regional and international issues of concern to the Arab and Islamic countries.
This came during his meeting with Omani Ambassador in Cairo Abdullah bin Nasser al Rahbi, who expressed his happiness for being the Sultanate’s diplomatic representative in Egypt and lauded the strong relations binding the peoples and leaderships of the two countries.
The ambassador said that Omani businessmen are looking forward to increasing their investments in Egypt during the coming period to benefit from the attractive business climate it enjoys.
During the meeting, preparations for celebrating the 50th anniversary of Egyptian-Omani relations at the end of the month were reviewed.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of this occasion and the economic, commercial and cultural activities that it will involve to mark five decades of cooperation and fraternal ties between Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman and build on the friendly and brotherly relations between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his brother Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman for the benefit of the peoples of the two sisterly countries.
