Officials deny postponing study at schools in Cairo, Giza due to rains

CAIRO – 25 October 2022: Cairo and Giza Governorates confirmed that there is no postponement of the study due to the heavy rains witnessed all over the country.

Officials in both Governorates said that, Wednesday will be a normal studying day at schools for all levels.

Cairo and Giza governorates are seeing heavy thunder rains, on Tuesday, amid unstable weather expected to continue for the few coming days according to the Meteorological Authority

The Authority also indicated that Egypt is witnessing light to medium rain and even expected to turn into thunderstorm, with an incidence of 50 percent.

Some areas of northwest coasts, central Sinai and the canal cities, might also be seeing some rains along with northern Upper Egypt.
