CAIRO – 17 October 2022: Egyptian medical delegation arrived, Sunday night at Gaza strip to perform major surgeries as per President Abdel Fattah al Sisi directives.
Starting Monday Morning the delegation started performing several major operations in both Shifa Medical Complex and Gaza European Hospital.
Upon their arrival, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza received the Egyptian delegation, which consisted of consultants in important specialties, namely: cardiovascular, orthopedic, spine and deformity surgery.
The Egyptian medical delegation will continue its work in the Gaza Strip for ten days, to perform the largest possible number of surgeries in Gaza hospitals, as well as to assist the Palestinian medical staff and provide all medical services to the residents of the Strip.
This comes within the framework of relieving the citizens of the Gaza Strip and in light of what President Sisi announced of the Egyptian commitment to rapidly improving the living conditions of Gaza residents.
