Tunisian President greets Sisi on greeting to anniversary of October War

CAIRO - 6 Otcober 2022: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Tunisian President Kais Saied, who offered his greetings on the occasion of celebrating the anniversary of the glorious October War, said the Egyptian Presidency in a statement on Thursday.

The Tunisian president stated that the epic crossing represents an example of true sacrifice and struggle in defense of land, freedom and dignity, the statement added.

This memory shall remain embedded in the hearts and minds of the peoples of the Arab nation, the statement continued.

President El-Sisi expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the kind gesture by President Saied and wished the government and people of Tunisia progress, peace and prosperity.
